Air Force, Bridgeport, Yale at UNH

There will be a lot going on this weekend in Durham as three teams from New England are joined by the lone service academy offering women’s gymnastics in the U.S. in Air Force.

New Hampshire is currently ranked 34th in the country and battling with a tight field to qualify for regionals. UNH had a great high score two weeks ago, but had a relatively low score this past weekend, though their average is still fairly high in the rankings. Division 2 Bridgeport is coming off a school record score last weekend at Brown and is actually higher in the ranking than Division 1 Air Force, though both teams have averages in the 188s range setting up a close match up between them. Yale has been fighting injuries and some lineup holes as a result and has seen the scores dip despite a wide variety of individual success. Currently Yale only has five gymnasts competing on three events, down from the six most teams have available to them. All four teams possess unique aspects which make this an interesting meet.
