Notes:
One week after Southern Connecticut made a trip to southern Rhode
Island, they will be back in the state, only this time at the
capital of Providence as they face Brown. URI will also take on
their fellow instate team and Brown has been supportive of
Rhodys efforts to maintain their program throughout the
crisis. SCSU will be taking on URI for the second time in as many
weeks as well. From the scoring highs and averages it could be a
close one certainly.
The home Bears have had to deal with a fluctuating lineup which
includes not often being able to put more than 5 gymnasts into
the vault lineup, but amidst that tribulation has been the
contributions of the new freshman class, mixed with the veterans.
Southern Connecticut has been having a very good year in the
score column with a lot of their gymnasts racking up solid
outings and higher and higher team scores. URI has been putting
up good scoring as well throughout the season with lineups mixing
mostly seniors and freshmen.
. Just throwing some random thoughts out there, URI is going to
bring out a nice mix of floor routines, as well as an exciting
lineup on the Bars. Brown has a fun variety on floor, and also
keeps things interesting on the Beam. SCSUs floor lineup
flows really well together, and they seem to build momentum
through the vault. This isnt to downgrade any of the other
events, just expanding upon my initial memories of some of the
rotations.
All three teams come in with their own styles, and it should be a
fun meet to watch for those in attendance
Top Scorers (High scores listed.) While all team members
contribute in tangible and intangible ways, this is meant to
serve as a snapshot of the top scorers for each team on each
